Thanks Kortney! It feels really good to be submitting work again. Definitely hoping to have some wins to share in the future, but given that most of the time you hear crickets followed by an impersonal rejection, it seems worth celebrating.
I've got "I am willing to trust that rejection is a part of the process" written in my journal. But creative resilience is definitely a work in progress for me.

Love them in an easy skillet cake! I also cook them down with a bit of maple syrup to top pancakes or chia seed pudding.
