Trying Something New for Fall
A year in the making, my decision to send Wild Words podcast updates over Substack
First things first: brand new episodes of Wild Words will be in your feed starting in early September. (Spoiler alert: I'll be sharing everything I learned from my summer of white space to kick things off.)
Second, I'm doing an experiment this fall, and would love to have you join me. My regular monthly newsletter isn't changing (for now), but I've decided to send updates about the podcast from Substack.
One of the main reasons for this is a desire to create more conversation and community around the episodes, and Substack has a handy comments feature where we can all talk. (Remember blogging back in the early aughts? Or were you part of my private Facebook group during the five years it was open? That's what this reminds me of, and I'm excited to bring back more of a community feel.)
Once the season wraps up I'll decide whether or not I want to set up a permanent space here, but one thing I know about my human design/manifesting generator self is I won't be able to make a decision unless I experiment. This is truly part of my process, which I’ve always been transparent about.
I'll also be putting together a more in-depth episode all about my curious-yet-complicated Substack feelings and how I got to this point, which will come out later this fall.
Please note: Since this is a test-the-waters situation, I'm not automatically moving my entire list over to Substack, so you'll need to voluntarily add yourself if you'd like to get the podcast updates. Of course, I'll include episode links in my regular newsletter, but this will give the opportunity to share your thoughts after you have a listen and connect with other listeners, writers, and good people of the internet.
Nicole Gulotta is the author of WILD WORDS and the literary cookbook EAT THIS POEM. She helps sensitive writers embrace the season they're in, create at their own pace, and care for their minds and bodies along the way. For more, grab your headphones and listen to the Wild Words podcast on iTunes or Spotify.
Just got your email, subscribed, and I’m here for this and you!! Love!
